TRS Bajri flour
(also known as Bajra flour) is made from the grains of Bajra or pearl millet. India is considered the largest producer of pearl millet. It is highly nutritious and can be used alone or blended with other flours like juwar, ragi and wheat flour to make an even healthier variation of regular chappati.
Uses:
- It can be used to make Indian fresh flatbreads - the soft, round rotis, naans with hot butter, gheere rich parathas and crispy puris etc.
- It is also a key ingredient in certain types of snacks (like 'mathri') and some desserts like atte ka halwa (whole wheat halwa).
